Join us for Conrail Day, a special event commemorating the 50th birthday of Conrail!
This event, in collaboration with the Conrail Historical Society, will feature presentations on the history of Conrail and rides on historic Conrail equipment. Admission will be good for the whole day. Food will be available all day from Reservoir Dog’z. We’ve prepared a day full of trains so make sure to check out the schedule to plan your visit!
Ride on cabooses that saw service with Conrail! Trains will depart every hour for a ride up to our Restoration Building. Once there you can explore the largest collection of preserved railroad equipment in New York State, check out our exhibits, and view our progress as we work to bring railroad history back to life!
In the shop right now is one of Conrail’s “DeWitt Geeps,” RS3M Lehigh Valley 211, formerly CR 5487/9920. LV 211 is currently in the shop undergoing restoration. Learn more about how you can support us as we work to bring it back to operation!
