March 31 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

Easter Bunny Train Rides

This event is sold out! Thank you for your support!

The Easter Bunny rides the rails! As the last of winter snows begin to melt, spring is just around the corner! Celebrate the fresh air and warmer weather with a fun family trip to the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. Join us for the Easter Bunny’s annual visit to our museum and ride our special Easter Bunny Train Rides on Saturday, March 31.

Easter Bunny Train Rides

During your visit, you will enjoy train rides that tour our museum grounds as you visit New York’s largest collection of historic trains. Enjoy a mile-and-a-half round trip train ride through our bucolic museum grounds. Children will take part in an Easter egg hunt, which includes a visit with the Easter Bunny for photos. Visit with the friendly animals in the petting zoo after your ride! Refreshments will be available for purchase, including a full grill menu. Our museum gift shop is stocked with many railroad souvenirs for any train buff.

Train rides depart every half hour from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum can trace its roots back to 1937 as the Rochester Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. Since our museum was established in 1971, we have preserved more than 40 pieces of historic railroad equipment along with our 1909 Erie Railroad passenger station to bring Rochester's rich railroading heritage to life.
