2016 Santa Trains – Dec. 3

Santa Trains

All aboard the only real Santa Train Ride in Rochester! All trains depart from our restored 1909 train station at Industry. Enjoy the festive atmosphere and complimentary hot chocolate while you wait for the conductor to call “ALL ABOARD!” Climb aboard our restored vintage freight train cabooses for a special trip to the North Pole to visit with Santa Claus! Every child will get to meet Santa and receive a candy cane from one of his elves.

Please allow up to one hour for the entire round trip train ride experience. Don’t forget to visit the Scottsville Parade of Lights! This large community holiday festival is located on Scottsville’s Main Street, just two miles from our museum.

Trains depart at
3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00pm.

Industry Depot is located at 282 Rush Scottsville Road, Rush NY, 14543. We are easy to find from Exit 11 on I-390, and just 20 minutes from downtown Rochester on Route 251 West!

Admission

Your ticket includes a train ride and admission to our museum grounds and exhibits. Ages 4 and under ride free, no ticket required.

The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum can trace its roots back to 1937 as the Rochester Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. Since our museum was established in 1971, we have preserved more than 40 pieces of historic railroad equipment along with our 1909 Erie Railroad passenger station to bring Rochester's rich railroading heritage to life.
